Training FAQs

Q: How do I find out which trainings I am due for?

A: To find out what trainings you are due for you will need to access the Twinsis link and log into your profile by following this link https://thearcofpgc.oncims.net/EmployeeDashboard. 

To get information on your Maryland Board of Nursing Medication Technician certification status OR your Certified Nursing Assistant certification you can visit the following link http://lookup.mbon.org/verification/Search.aspx

Q. I can not see the icon for my Department (i.e. My Homes icon, Vocational icon, Family & Supports icon).

A. You will need to contact your supervisor and have them submit an IT request through Twinsis.

Q. My password for Twinsis is not working, how do I get it reset? 

A. You will need to contact your supervisor and have them submit an IT Request through Twinsis to have your password reset.

Q. I have expired trainings and it will not allow me to register. What do I need to do?

A. You will need to contact bramnarine@thearcofpgc.org to request for an extension and for the training to be unlocked.

Q. I am trying to register for a training but it indicates the class is closed. What do I need to do to register?

A. If you are trying to register and see the training is closed, this means that the training has reached its maximum capacity. You can email bramnarine@thearcofpgc.org to be placed on the waiting list but it is suggested to schedule for the next upcoming training in the meantime since trainings can fill quickly.

Q. My BPS Refresher is expired, what do I do?

A. DDA requires that staff who allow their BPS Refresher to expire, must complete the full BPS Series again. You will need to email Bramnarine@thearcofpgc.org to update your trainings so that you can register for this training.

Q. My CMT Certification is expired, what do I do?

Q: If I am not a current Arc staff can I register for the available trainings?

A: No, you must be a current Arc staff to register for trainings. NonArc staff can register for trainings by visiting the following link.

Q: I am a current staff and would like a copy of my Training Transcript, how do I request a copy?
A: In order to be eligible for a copy of your training transcript, you must come to the main office @ 1401 McCormick Drive and complete a Training Transcript Request and pay the $25 applicable fee. Q: I use to work with The Arc Prince George’s County but am no longer actively employed with them, am I still eligible to get a copy of my training transcript?
A: In order to be eligible for a copy of your training transcript, you must either currently be actively employed with the agency OR have left The Arc in Good Standing.

Q: Will I be notified if a registered training is cancelled?
A: You will always be notified if a training is cancelled as soon as its possible, however, it is recommended that you check The Arc Training Calendar the day of your training for any changes or cancellations.
