Volunteer with The Arc
Help out with special events, gather information, or match your talents to our needs. For more information about Internships and any of these volunteer opportunities, contact Shea Friedland at email@example.com.
Bring your company, church group, team, or youth group and help us with a project. We would love your help with yard work, home maintenance, and many other projects!
The Arc is excited to partner with colleges, universities, and employment programs to offer meaningful internships in the fields of social work, nursing, business administration, and human resources.
Become a Mentor
The Arc’s volunteer program fosters friendships between members of the community and the people we serve. Many people with developmental disabilities need a special friend in their lives. We will match you with someone in The Arc’s in-home supports, day or residential programs. If you are willing to give a little time and share your life experience, in return you can forge a lasting friendship and make a big difference in someone’s life!
Day Support Services
The Day Support Services provide a meaningful day for men and women with developmental disabilities through community outings, games, arts, and activities. These programs are interested in volunteers with skills in any interest area and will work to match volunteer skills with the interests of the people in the programs. The sky is truly the limit as we expand the world for the people in our programs and work to create lasting friendships.
Contact Connie Price, Chief Programs Officer at TSimpson-Clement@thearcofpgc.org to participate on a committee.
