The Arc Prince George’s County is now featured on the Jumbotron at National Harbor, sharing a simple but powerful message with thousands of visitors: “Don’t go it alone.”
For families raising a child with intellectual and developmental disabilities, finding the right information, services and support can sometimes feel overwhelming. We want families in Prince George’s County to know there is a place they can turn—and a community ready to stand beside them.
That’s why this moment is about much more than seeing The Arc on a giant screen.
It’s about being seen by the people who may need us.
A parent visiting National Harbor may see our message and realize help is closer than they thought. A community member may learn about The Arc for the first time. Someone else may scan the QR code, discover our services and share that information with a family they know.
And as The Arc Prince George’s County prepares to celebrate its 75th anniversary in 2027, the timing couldn’t be more meaningful.
For nearly 75 years, we have helped people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families pursue opportunities, navigate challenges and build their best lives.
