Gold Medal Glory: Carey Noble Wins at Md Special Olympics Summer Games

There are moments that remind us why we celebrate every milestone, every achievement, and every possibility. This is one of them.

Congratulations to Carey Noble, who brought home a gold medal in swimming at the Maryland Special Olympics Summer Games!

Carey competed against athletes from across Maryland, and her hard work, determination, and dedication paid off with a first-place finish. But anyone who knows Carey knows this medal represents more than a victory in the pool. It reflects countless hours of practice, perseverance, confidence, and the courage to keep pushing toward a goal.

The smile on Carey’s face says it all. She earned every bit of this moment.

“We’re incredibly proud of Carey,” said Mycie Lubin, Community Living & Personal Support Division Director. “Her accomplishment is a reminder of what can happen when people are supported, encouraged, and given the opportunity to pursue their dreams.”

As The Arc looks ahead to celebrating 75 years of creating possibilities in 2027, stories like Carey’s remind us that inclusion isn’t just about opening doors—it’s about cheering people on as they walk through them and celebrating every success along the way.

Congratulations, Carey! Your Arc family is proud of you, and we can’t wait to see what you accomplish next.
