Low Intensity Support Services (LISS)


Low Intensity Supports Services (LISS) is a statewide grant program designed to help families provide for the needs of a child with a developmental disabilities living in the community as well as an adult with developmental disabilities living in their home. LISS are flexible, creative, preventative in nature, responsive and time limited.

LISS can help improve quality of life, support people to remain in their own homes, increase or maintain independence, and participate in their communities by providing assistance and financial resources.

Maryland Community Connections (MCC) is the LISS provider for the DDA Southern Maryland Region. This means if you live in Montgomery, Prince George’s, St. Mary’s, Charles or Calvert Counties, MD you will submit your LISS applications to Maryland Community Connections.
