The Alzheimer’s Association
National Capital Area
Offers information for individuals and families who are struggling to live with the disease. There are many local chapters that provide support groups, reading materials, assist with locating resources and provide advocacy for people with Alzheimer’s and their families.

Provides information on Medicare and Medicaid. The Centers for Medicaid and Medicare was previously known as “HCFA – Health Care Financing Administration”.

Department of Aging, Prince George’s County

Offers a Senior Health Insurance Counseling and Advocacy Program, in addition to many other services for seniors.
