To be eligible for the Homeownership for Individuals with Disabilities Program, one of the borrowers must have a disability, or a child of one of the borrowers must have a disability and reside with one of the borrowers.

Project Home

Offers a supportive housing program for adults with disabilities. The residences are called Certified Adult Residential Environment (CARE) homes and are usually private homes that accept placement of people with disabilities through Project Home. Offered through the Department of Social Services.

Section 8 and Rental Assistance Programs

Gives families help with their monthly rent. Both programs are currently closed for lack of funding in Prince George’s County. Call to get onto the waiting list. Offered through the Department of Social Services.
