Bridges
is a medical day program offered by The Arc of Prince
George’s County serving adults with developmental
disabilities who also have medical needs. Bridges Medical
Day Care provides a set of supportive services where
individuals with very complex needs can obtain medical/therapeutic
supports while at the same time enjoying leisure experiences
and community outings. Seniors are welcome. The Bridges
program offers a stimulating array of activities, outings
into the community, performances and nursing support
designed to encourage independence, optimize health
and promote socialization. The Bridges program receives
funding from the Developmental Disabilities Administration
and Medicaid. Accessible
transportation is provided to the individual’s
home.
