The Arc Thrift Store, formerly My Friend's Closet, is a high-quality resale store operated by and for The Arc of Prince George’s County. Proceeds help fund The Arc’s programs.

Hours of operation:
Monday through Friday from 10 am to 8 pm
Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm
Sunday from 12 noon to 5 pm
Merchandise donations are accepted during regular store hours.

We love to accept: clean clothing for all ages, wardrobe accessories and jewelry, house wares, seasonal items, books, records, games and toys, small appliances and televisions in working condition, tools, antiques, and collectibles.

We cannot accept: furniture, textbooks, magazines, mattresses and box springs, large appliances, blinds, Christmas trees, computers, printers, fax machines, scanners, and carpeting.

The Arc Thrift Store is always on the lookout for volunteers! Many volunteers work with the store manager and several paid staff members to keep the store running smoothly. New volunteers are always welcome. Come and help size and price clothing, repair donated items, and assist customers.
