Children's Services: CSLA
What
are Family Supports?
The Family Supports Programs are committed to providing
quality supports that enhance the lives of children
and adults with disabilities and their families and
enable them to continue to live in their own homes and
participate in their communities. Designed to provide
flexible, creative solutions that support the health
and well being of people with developmental disabilities
and their families, the programs work to preserve families
and to reduce the stress associated with caring for
someone with a disability.
What
supports are offered?
The Arc’s Community Supported Living Arrangements
(CSLA) and Family and Individual Support Services (FISS)
are funded through the Developmental Disability Administration
(DDA); each person’s funding is determined by
the DDA based on needs and the availability of funds.
The programs support children and adults living with
their families or independently. Everyone receives case
management and has specific budgets with which to purchase
services.
Who
is eligible?
To receive services, you must be approved to receive
DDA funding. For more information on any of The Arc’s
Community Supports Programs, please contact Becky Carter
