SPRIT CLUB: Health and Fitness Program

SPIRIT (Social Physical Interactive Respectful Inclusive Teamwork) Club is a weekly health and fitness program for adults with special abilities and needs that provides its members with exercise instruction, healthy snacks and take-home portfolios with nutritional guidance. This program will be held at The Arc Prince George's County Administrative Building on McCormick Drive every Monday. Transition 101 is a series of workshops for families whose children are transitioning from school to adult services. This month's topic will be Resource Coordination Agency Night. The Arc Prince George’s County’s Residential Family Support Group offers family members an opportunity to meet with other families involved in The Arc’s Residential Program. Meetings offer family members support and information. Arc staff are often invited to share information about The Arc's programs. Finance, Maintenance, Health, Human Rights, Transportation, Training and Recreation are some of the topics that have been explored.
