Kennedy
Krieger Institute is looking for adolescents and adults ages 12-25
years, with fragile X syndrome
to participate in a research study. This study is being conducted
by centers across the country to help determine whether the investigational
drug arbaclofen is an effective for social withdrawal symptoms
associated with fragile X syndrome. Click

Free Conference for Transitioning Youth with Special Health Care
Needs

There
are many things to consider and plan for as any teen transitions
from youth to young adulthood. For young people who have chronic
health conditions, health and wellness is a critical component
in transitioning to adulthood. Planning for the move from the
child-centered health care system to the adult-centered health
care system is crucial. This day-long parent and youth conferences
will offer information and ready-to-use planning tools and resources
for youth, families, and providers to make the health care transition
process easier and less overwhelming.
Youth 12-17 are invited to attend with their parent. Special activities,
workshops, and prizes for youth! The conference will be offered

Policy Seminar
