Adult Services: Residential
Prince
George’s County is a great place to live, and
The Arc ensures that people with developmental disabilities
have a place to call home. The Arc’s residential
services provide not only a place to live, but also
the best quality of life for all through medical support,
behavioral support, and community inclusion. The Arc
also works diligently to support residents’ families
through support groups, ongoing communication, and involvement.
Operating
over 40 residences within the county, The Arc’s
dedication to meeting needs on an individual level shines
through in each house. People are given the degree of
support they need, whether daytime staff, live-in staff,
or 24-hour a day nursing staff. Between two to six people
live together—building life-long friendships and
creating a cohesive community.
