What are information and referral services?

The Arc gathers and maintains a listing of various community resources that provide support and assistance to people with developmental disabilities and their families. Providing information referral services for over 1,300 people a year, Arc staff members link people with community resources and provide information on navigating the developmental disabilities system. Arc staff members are happy to answer any questions you have and will help guide you through the process of obtaining the services you need.

How do I obtain these services?

Information and referral services are provided free of charge. Services are usually provided over the telephone, but in-person appointments can also be arranged. Contact Becky Carter at bcarter@thearcofpgc.org or 301-925-7050, ext. 242.
